Serving Boards

2022

Oak serving boards made using a combination of hand and power tools. Produced during two evening sessions under the guidance of Glasgow based woodworker Calum Bettison (Hatchworks).

The serving boards were cut from oak blanks using a jigsaw.

Dowel detailing was added in the corner of each board.

Finger holes drilled on a drill press.

Surfaces were sanded with an orbital sander and finished with sand paper.

Boards were finished with food safe OSMO varnish.
